Terms of Service
Last updated: July 18, 2026
1. What BidSnap is
BidSnap is an AI-powered tender analysis service for construction contractors, operated from Alberta, Canada. You upload tender documents; BidSnap produces written analysis reports. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
2. AI processing of your documents
When you run an analysis, the text content of your uploaded documents and your company profile are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic is a third-party provider; BidSnap does not control how Anthropic stores, processes, or retains data sent through its API. Review Anthropic's privacy policy for details.
3. Acceptable use and your responsibility
- Only upload documents you are authorized to share. If a tender package carries confidentiality restrictions, non-disclosure requirements, or proprietary markings, it is your responsibility to confirm that uploading it to a third-party AI service is permitted.
- Do not attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service, other users' data, or the underlying AI systems.
- BidSnap is not responsible for consequences arising from the unauthorized sharing of confidential documents.
4. AI accuracy disclaimer
AI can make mistakes. Reports generated by BidSnap are a starting point for your own review, not a substitute for professional judgment. Always verify critical information (quantities, deadlines, specifications, requirements) against the original tender documents before making bidding or pricing decisions. BidSnap does not provide engineering, legal, or professional estimating advice, and is not responsible for errors, omissions, or misinterpretations in AI-generated reports, or for business decisions made based on them.
5. Credits and payments
- Analyses are paid for with pre-purchased credits. Payments are processed by Stripe; BidSnap does not store your card details.
- Credits do not expire.
- For billing questions or issues with a purchase, contact support@bidsnap.ca.
6. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. BidSnap may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting support.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to active users through the application. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
